Le moteur de la Royal-Enfield 500 de Leconte, aménagée dans les limites du règlement sport. Deux carbus, une partie haute de Constellation doivent en faire une "méchante" 500, mais un reniflard trop généreux devait empêcher Leconte de nous montrer ses possibilités.

The first Grand Prix held at Linas-Montlhéry was the French G.P. of 1925. This picture shows Antonio Ascari (father of the present Alberto), in the lead ; later in the race his Alfa-Romeo overturned and he was killed.

With a New York to California record run their goal, Harry Somme and Franck Slater drove their stock Simca into the Holland Tunnel at 4 a.m., December 19th, travelled as many turnpikes as possible, and arrived at Los Angeles in just 46 hours 3 minutes. Gas mileage averaged out to 27 miles per gallon, or $32.83.
